Ontario Bar Association Executive (2020-21)

I'm thrilled to announce that I will serve in the following executive roles for the Ontario Bar Association (OBA) in the upcoming year. The OBA is an association representing around 16,000 legal professionals including lawyers, judges, notaries, law professors & law students.

• Vice-Chair - Law Practice Management;

• Regional Representative - Privacy & Access to Information Law;

• Public Affairs Liaison - Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law; and

• Technology Liaison - Entertainment, Media & Communication Law.

The sections’ mandates include providing specialized programming on current and substantive legal information for today's lawyers, strengthening advocacy and crafting public policy initiatives. As lawyers, I believe that we have a role to play as allies for fair justice systems, effective law reform, equality and eliminating discrimination. I look forward to bringing my voice forward and working collaboratively to create new opportunities for the members of our legal profession.
